Tourism WA Extraordinary Taxi Ride

The City of Albany is currently working with Tourism WA to put together an official welcome event for the Extraordinary Taxi Ride which will visit Albany on the 14th of April.

As part of the event the taxi will arrive at the Princess Royal Fortress to a cannon firing, Mayoral Welcome, Indigenous Welcome to Country and Live Local Music.

Approximately 50 dignitaries and participants and local media will be attending, as well as the Tourism WA’s film crew who will use footage of the taxi ride for future promotions.

The event will also be used as an opportunity to showcase Albany’s fantastic local products, services and tourist activities.
